OFC. DAVID CAJUSO T-SHIRT FUNDRAISER

On Tuesday, October 28, 2025, the Miami Beach community suffered a heartbreaking loss. Officer David Cajuso, a 33-year-old motorcycle officer and 10-year member of the Miami Beach Police Department, tragically passed away in the line of duty following a crash near I-75 and the Gratigny Parkway in northwest Miami-Dade. Despite the rapid response and his transport to Ryder Trauma Center, David did not survive his injuries.

David was so much more than his uniform. He was a devoted husband and a proud father to three young children, ages 2, 3, and 5. Coming from a family of first responders—his father serves with Miami Beach Fire Rescue—David dedicated his life to protecting others. Even after surviving a serious on-duty accident in 2017, he returned to serve with courage and humility. Those who knew him describe a kind, compassionate, and steady presence—a man who led with quiet strength, humor, and heart.
